In December 2022, we successfully launched Digibank CN, marking a significant milestone as the final full app revamp across all six of our markets.
Like many projects during the pandemic, this 2.5-year initiative was executed entirely remotely. Every meeting—from design discussions to usability testing, from business requirement alignments to addressing technical constraints—was conducted online. Despite these challenges, we successfully navigated the complexities and delivered a seamless experience for our users.
My role in this project mirrored my previous work on the Digibank TW and HK revamps—leading UX design and collaborating with business, delivery, and tech teams to co-create a Simpler, Smarter, Faster app. Throughout the process, I gained a deeper understanding of how customer behaviors differ across Singapore, Taiwan, Hong Kong, and China, particularly in specific product interactions. This insight reinforced the importance of a holistic design approach—deliver a best-in-class user experience. After extensive research and discussions, we arrived at the final design solutions.
This project was a true team effort, with contributions from UX designers, UX researchers, content designers, and DLS designers. I’m incredibly grateful to have worked with such a talented team—it made the entire journey even more rewarding.
