Paipai, founded in 2005, was a C2C auction platform previously operated by Tencent. In 2014, it was merged into JD Group, and in the same year, I joined Paipai’s Mobile R&D team as a mobile app designer for both iOS and Android.

It felt like working at a startup—we rebranded the platform and explored new possibilities, leveraging JD’s existing resources and channels. Operating in a fast-paced, high-performance environment, we worked tirelessly to release new features every two weeks throughout the year. This experience taught me that the quickest way to grow is by wearing multiple hats and adapting to different roles.

Beyond my work as a UX designer, I also contributed to the office environment by designing wall murals for various departments in our new office—an experience that allowed me to combine my passion for design with workplace creativity.
