Did God create humans, or did humans create God? I’m not sure, but I have been drawn to the symbol of the cross since my teenage years. There is a unique beauty and holiness in the many different forms of crosses around the world. In 2013, while studying at UCLan, I encountered numerous missionaries on the streets. They kindly shared their beliefs with me, and although our faiths differed, we became good friends. During that time, I participated in a lighting design competition, and an idea suddenly came to me—what about a cross-shaped pendant light?

One of the competition’s requirements was that "glue is not allowed," which challenged me to think creatively. After considering various methods, I finally settled on the approach used in toy splicing. The result was quite satisfying: the light is not only easy to assemble and disassemble, but it is also remarkably stable.
