Lunar Caravan, a commercial company based near Preston, designs and manufactures luxurious lightweight caravans for the UK market. This project aims to develop a new concept for a younger audience: the Lunar Pod. The brief called for a product with personality, featuring a fresh, contemporary use of materials and surface treatments, all while maintaining an affordable price under £7,000. The Lunar Pod is so lightweight that it can be towed by even the smallest cars, and its compact size makes it particularly appealing to those new to leisure camping.
